At the entrance to Woolwich Road is a sign saying that the controlled zone parking is lifted at 17.30. However, there are residents bays, most of which are restricted till 20.30, and meters and yellow lines with signs restricting them to 20.30. After the restriction time, it is ok to park on meters, residents bays or single yellow lines, but please check the times. If there is no space near the hall, go round the one-way system again and down Woolwich Road. There is usually space further down or in Pelham Road.
Many buses stop at Bexleyheath town centre, which is at the end of Chapel Road, about 100 metres from the hall. These include Routes 89, 96, 99, 132, 229, 269. 401, 422, 486, 492, B11, B12, B13, B14, B15, B16, N21 and N89. Here from Transport for London is their
Note that Chapel Road, North Street and the first part of Woolwich Road are one-way streets, so it is necessary to approach from Woolwich Road. Access is straightforward from the A2 at the Black Prince Intersection, and relatively easy from the M25. There are no known sat nav problems.
The parking restrictions mean you need to be careful when parking
Bexleyheath is on the Bexleyheath line from London to Dartford. Bethany Hall lies slightly closer to Barnehurst station than Bexleyheath, so we recommend staying on the train one more stop to Barnehurst. It's about a 25 minute walk from the station, but if you call in advance to arrange a lift, we may be able to pick you up at Barnehurst.
